BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Kiosk manufacturer Kiosk Information Systems (KIS) has scaled a significant local peak, landing itself in the top 20 of this year's Colorado Technology Fast 50. The list highlights the fastest-growing technology companies in Colorado based on revenue.
Revenue at KIS has increased 575 percent over the past five years, enough to land the company in 19th place on this year's list. Topping the list was eCollege at 10,996 percent. Overall, the 50 companies on this year's list averaged revenue growth of 1,264 percent.
KIS was 22nd on last year's list with revenue growth of 421 percent. The list is compiled by the consulting and professional services company Deloitte & Touche.
"In today's uncertain economy, triple-digit percentage revenue growth is an exceptional accomplishment," Gary McIver, Deloitte & Touche technology and communications group partner, said in a news release.
