BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Seeking to strengthen its geographic reach, kiosk designer and manufacturer Kiosk Information Systems (KIS) has signed a distribution agreement with Instruments & Equipment Co. (I&E). The Sparta, N.J.-based company will act as a KIS distributor on the East Coast.
KIS president Rick Malone said Instruments & Equipment would help increase awareness of the company in the Eastern U.S.
"I&E currently services roughly 250 kiosk customers," Malone said in a news release. "Its product catalog is an excellent vehicle to market KIS kiosk models to a brand-new, and growing, customer base."
Brian Grady, I&E general manager, said the two companies were already working on projects that integrate NCR Internet kiosks into custom tabletop and free-standing kiosks.
Based in Broomfield, Colo., KIS has already developed clients in the Eastern U.S. The company has supplied 62 Internet kiosks at the University of Pittsburgh and is contracted to provide another 38.
KIOSK Information Systems is a world leader in self-service solutions because of its long history delivering proven expertise in design engineering and manufacturing, application development, integration, and comprehensive support services.
