BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Kiosk manufacturer Kiosk Information Systems Inc. (KIS) has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for its engineering processing and manufacturing programs.
The certification process, recently completed by the International Standards Organization, means that KIS's quality control standards meet the organization's guidelines. Previously, KIS kiosks received approval for use in public environments by the Underwriters Laboratory. The Federal Communications Commission has also approved the kiosks, saying they do emit materials that could interfere with radio or telephone signals.
KIS officials said the ISO 9001:2000 certification would allow the company to do business with international clients and confirms KIS's standards and policies for existing clients.
KIOSK Information Systems is a world leader in self-service solutions because of its long history delivering proven expertise in design engineering and manufacturing, application development, integration, and comprehensive support services.
