KioWare updates Android kiosk software with attract screen looper

KioWare has announced the launch of Version 3.7 of KioWare for Android. The software is designed with a new attract screen looper to allow businesses to add attract screens with the configuration tool.

KioWare has announced the launch of Version 3.7 of KioWare for Android. The software is designed with a new attract screen looper to allow businesses to add attract screens with the configuration tool, according to the press release.

Customers can use KioWare's configuration tool to set attract screens to run on a loop. They can choose to run the attract screen on Single App Mode. Customers can also use the configuration tool to set the battery indicator display to on or off, according to the release.

The update also supports devices that can detect user presence.

Version 3.7 is designed with support for EMV payments via Credit Call's mPOS CardEaseMobile solution. Customers can use Miura PINPads alongside KioWare for Android to have a EMV compliant and point-to-point encryption solution.

KioWare software can be used to secure and lock down devices into kiosk mode, which controls usage of the operating system, home screen and applications. Users of the previous version of KioWare for Android need to update their software to version 3.7. Users need current support in order to update.

All KioWare products are available as a free trial with nag screen.
