Analytical Design Solutions Inc. has released KioWare 3.5, which will allow Android users to set up custom security settings on their smart phones, tablets and other devices. It is designed specifically for Android 5.0.

KioWare's main service involves locking down any device into a usable kiosk mode and this update will provide several new features. For example, users can now set up custom proxy settings on their Android devices to utilize a proxy server. KioWare 3.5 also allows users to log into websites that require basic authentication. They can save their usernames and passwords using this tool. In addition, KioWare 3.5 activates WebRTC functions which allow users to embed their videos into webpages.

Another feature included with the KioWare update is Heartbeat Geofencing. This allows users to determine in what geographic areas their devices are allowed to be used. Thus, if someone steals a phone and attempts to access services in a different geographical area, an alert is sent to the kiosk management team who can remotely resolve the issue.

In order to continue receiving support, users will have to update their KioWare software to version 3.5.
