KioWare releases new kiosk software with Chrome support

KioWare has announced the release of its latest kiosk software, with built-in Google Chrome support.

Kiosk software provider KioWareannounced last week the launch of KioWare for Windows Version 8.0. This software is designed to support Google Chrome, according to a KioWare press release.

The software has several features such as a redesigned UI, an HTML-based toolbar and keyboard, pop up management and tabbed browsing support. It also provides new protocols for exiting KioWare, such as requiring different passwords to exit KioWare, restart KioWare, shutdown PC, restart PC and other tasks.

The original KioWare, KioWare Basic, and KioWare Full for Windows have been rereleased as KioWare Classic for Windows. Users with licenses for these products can transition their licenses to KioWare for Windows Version 8.0 if they have current support. KioWare for Windows Version 8.0 is available for purchase starting at $70.
