Kiosk software company KioWare has announced the launch of Version 3.6 of KioWare for Android. It is designed to allow Android 6.0 users to lock their tablets or phones into kiosk mode, and is available in Lite, Basic or Full, according to the press release.
The Basic and Full models are designed with EMV certification support, specifically with Credit Call's mPOS CardEaseMobile framework, according to the release. All models of KioWare for Android 3.6 support native PDF files. The new version also offers a new user agent feature that allows the Web server to detect that a kiosk is going to a new Web page. From there, the user can set the kiosk display to be different than average Web browsing content. This can be utilized for analytics and reporting, according to the release.
Current KioWare for Android users need to have current support in order to update to version 3.6. Users can also get free trials of this software with nag screen.
