LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Kiosks.Org Association (KOA) and the German Multimedia Association (dmmv) have agreed to an historic partnership to further the interests of the kiosk industry in Germany and the United States.
The comprehensive cooperative relationship will support the mutual interests of the groups' members, and promote the multi-channel sales strategies in the kiosk and Internet terminal markets, according to a news release.
The partnership provides that each will:
"I believe that the agreement between the associations will be a great benefit not only to their respective members, but to the kiosk industry as a whole," said Alan Fryrear, executive director of Kiosks.Org Association, in the release.
"Everyone should be excited about working together. It will help U.S. technology continue to spread in the German market, and German technology in the American market."
With more than 200 members, KOA is the only worldwide federation dedicated exclusively to the interests and challenges of all enterprises involved in the electronic self-service kiosk market. Among its members are manufacturers, suppliers and application developers, operators, users, and individuals with special interest in and knowledge of the kiosk market.
The association supports its members with information, market studies, case studies, networking opportunities, panel discussions and the publication of requests for proposals.
The association is currently forming a KOA European advisory board.
The German Multimedia Association is Europe's member-strongest interest and professional agency for the digital economy. Membership numbers more than 1,000 and comprises providers of interactive media, interactive agencies, media producers, software developers, and many others whose primary business is electronic self-service.
Dmmv represents more than 1,400 enterprises of the digital economy.
