The South Dakota Lottery Commission will make 50 Gemini Ultra player-activated vending terminals from IGT available for selling lotto products and scratch tickets, according to a leloland.com report.

The machines will be equipped with barcode scanners to read driver licenses to make sure the buyer is 18 years of age or older.

Norm Lingle, commission executive director, said the machines will be good additions in the current COVID-19 conditions because they'll be some distance away from the counter.
