April 18, 2011

City officials in Atlantic City hope parking kiosks will bring in an extra $250,000 a year in parking revenue. The city has already started swapping parking meters with kiosks.

According to the The Press of Atlantic City, the first kiosks were placed near Atlantic City Hall, the Atlantic County Civil Courthouse and near The Walk shopping district.

City officials raised the cost of parking last year from 25 cents to 50 cents per half hour.
