Kiosks keep phones lit in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Monorail is deploying vending kiosks that offer phone charging on the go at its seven stops across the city.

Known as MobileQubes, the devices allow users to rent portable Qubes to charge their phones, according to a report by ABC 13.

The mobile user can pay the $4.99 daily rental rate for a Qube via debit or credit card. Once the user's phone is charged, the Qube can be returned to any kiosk, where it will be recharged for use by the next customer.

The kiosks provide portable chargers for Apple, Android and Blackberry phones.
