MAYNARD, Mass. -- Internet kiosks helped online career site Monster take top honors for its 2001 advertising campaign, according to a company news release.
Monster's campaign - "Job Good. Life Good." - was awarded the New York American Marketing Association's Gold EFFIE June 5. The campaign debuted with TV commercials during Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, and included banners, posters and billboards.
Street teams hit five key markets - Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco - driving custom-designed Land Rovers built in the shape of Monster's mascot, Trump. The Land Rovers towed trailers that unfolded to reveal a tent area with Internet kiosks. The kiosks connected users to Monster's Web site.
Monster picked up its first Gold EFFIE in 2000 for its 1999 "There's a Better Job Out There" campaign.
