PORTLAND, Ore. - Improved communication between staff, patients, and company officials is the goal behind a kiosk deployment that was recently unveiled at Marquis Companies in Portland, Ore.
Marquis, which operates long-term care facilities in the Portland area, recently installed 13 interactive kiosks in community areas at its facilities. The kiosk offer staff and residents access to corporate information through Marquis' intranet system. Company officials said the kiosks have allowed the company to communicate in a convenient, cost-effective fashion.
Portland-based consultant and kiosk developer NBG Solutions Inc. worked with Marquis to deploy the kiosks. NBG's KiNET kiosk software, which is utilized by the General Service Administration, was used on the Marquis project.
