Kiosks bring more parking options to Florida city

Motorists will have the option of parking at kiosks at the county parking garage in downtown Bradenton, Florida, according to a Bradenton Herald report. 

New kiosks are located from the ground to the fourth floor, and accept both coins and credit cards, with mobile payment scheduled for February. The previous parking meters only took change.

The kiosks will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists will be able to prepay any time after 7:30 a.m. The meters will begin running at 8 a.m.

New fees will begin on Jan. 13. Motorist will pay a minimum of $1 for two hours rather than paying 25 cents per half hour. All-day parking will be available for $4 and monthly parking for $40.
