KIOSKCOM: NEXTEP to show Deli Express kiosk

The self-service solution allows customers to order deli foods upon entering the store and pick them up later. Other products on display will include digital menu boards and online ordering solutions.

April 20, 2009

Troy, Mich. — NEXTEP SYSTEMS, a provider of customer self-order solutions for the QSR, fast casual restaurant and casino markets, has announced the technology it will display in its booth at KioskCom Self Service Expo and The Digital Signage Show next month.

NEXTEP will demonstrate touchscreen self-order kiosks, digital menu boards and online ordering solutions developed for airports, casinos, grocery/delis, restaurants and stadiums.

A special emphasis will be placed on NEXTEP's Deli Express. (Go here for a case study about the application.) The kiosk allows customers when they enter the store to order deli meats and cheeses from a touchscreen. Customers continue shopping and pick up their deli orders about 10 minutes later.

The solution is designed to cut waiting at the deli counter, saving customers time and reducing congestion. Customers also have the option of receiving text messages on their mobile phones when orders are ready.

NEXTEP will be in booth 607 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The KioskCom exhibit hall is open Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Thursday, May 7, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
