NEW YORK -- KioskCom, global organizer of kiosk and self-service technology exhibitions and conferences, announced the official call for papers for KioskCom 2004, the eighth annual event. The deadline for this call for presentations is Oct. 17, 2003.
KioskCom is looking for corporate executives responsible for their organizations' interactive, self-service kiosk technology projects to participate as featured presenters at the forum. Send e-mail proposals to speaking@kioskcom.com.
"As we work on the session content for KioskCom 2004, we are very excited to speak with leading companies that have deployed self-service kiosk technology projects," said Lawrence Dvorchik, executive director, in a news release.
"We look to feature the unique and strategic deployments in our conference sessions, to enable other organizations to learn the necessary strategies, tools and techniques to make their kiosk projects successful."
KioskCom 2004 will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from April 26-28, 2004.
KioskCom 2003 featured keynote sessions from Borders Books and 7-Eleven, as well as sessions for other successful kiosk initiatives, from HR applications to loyalty programs. Technology discussions focused on the elements a company needs for successful deployment.
KioskCom 2004 will be the largest gathering of kiosk technology suppliers and buyers in the world, with more than 100 kiosk-specific solutions and 2,000 attendees, the release said.
"At KioskCom 2003, there was an unprecedented amount of solutions in one location, and the reviews from attendees showed that they were very happy with the fact that they could get all of their solutions in one shot. We hope to increase the size of the exhibition, allowing companies more choices from which to make their projects successful," said Dvorchik.
