LODI, Calif. - PayStar Corp. (OTCBB:PYST) a Lodi, Calif.-based telecom, is supplying at least 5,000 PayStar Info*Stations to Kiosk USA over the next two years. These Info*Station kiosks will be placed in airports, restaurants and other hospitality locations throughout the U.S.
Internet Info*Station kiosks offer public access to entertainment and Internet communication services. The company's products use the Internet to interactively deliver broadband content and commerce opportunities to consumers and retailers. The kiosks deliver games, tournaments, e-mail, visual post cards and Internet services using a pay-to-play model.
Dan Normand, president of PayStar's Info*Station Division, said that the order proves the potential for a return on investment in the Internet kiosk market. He said the company spent more than $2.5 million developing software for managing kiosk content and commerce.
PayStar Communications Corp. owns and operates 10 divisions throughout the U.S. These divisions include prepaid telephone cards, Web design and hosting, ownership, and operation and management of cashless ATMs.
