SuperMax supermarkets in Puerto Rico have launched an in-store, kiosk-based coupon program that rewards shoppers with deals when they recycle newpapers, magazines and catalogs.
Developed by REMAG, the kiosks are in three locations for a three-month trial period. They contain more than $120 worth of savings in more than 150 coupons, according to a news release from REMAG, and customers also have the option to contribute funds to their favorite charity or non-profit organization.
The interactive customer experience is comprised of four steps:
"In SuperMax, we're always looking for ways to help our community as well as expand the services and additional value we offer in our stores," said José Revuelta, president of SuperMax. "With the REMAG program, we're continuing to do just that along with demonstrating our environmental commitment, which customers have been seeing through our recent image changes such as more efficient lighting and refrigeration systems."
