Kiosk projects nominated for German awards

BERLIN, Germany -- Five kiosk solutions have been nominated for the Kiosk Award's Shortlist within the German Multimedia Award 2003.

This year, there were three times more submissions than last year, according to a news release. These are the projects nominated for the shortlist:

Award for the best total kiosk solution:

AOL Internet Stations (submitted by AOL Germany, Hamburg)

Printer-Cartridge-Terminals at MediaMarkt stores (submitted by mecca neue medien, Aachen)

PAYBACK-Terminal/Instore Redemption (submitted by KAUFHOF Warenhaus AG, Cologne)

Special award for the most innovative kiosk solution/conception:

XPLACE, Multi-Channel-Customer-Care-Solution at the Point of Sale (submitted by ADVERTIMES GmbH / ADVERTOOLS, Goettingen)

The two winners will be presented during the German Multimedia Congress 2003 on July 2, 2003, in Berlin.
