KIOSK magazine named official KOA pub

November 17, 2004

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- KIOSK magazine, the first print publication entirely devoted to interactive self-service kiosk technology, together with the Kiosks.org Association, the membership-based voice for the self-service kiosk industry, today announced the establishment of KIOSK magazine as the official print publication of the association.

This partnership is the zenith of a several year relationship between KIOSK magazine and the Kiosks.org Association, according to a news release. The announcement signifies the objective to bring a single, stronger voice to market. The new relationship will go into effect beginning January 2004.

"The Kiosks.org Association continues to be the glue that holds the market for interactive self-service technology together," said Lief Larson, group publisher for KIOSK magazine.

"By aligning KIOSK magazine with the association, we feel that we will be able to deliver a news and solutions publication that is representative of the progress of hundreds of companies producing kiosk-related products and services as well as thousands of companies using kiosks to enhance customer service and streamline their businesses."

"We are very excited about joining with KIOSK magazine in promoting our industry," said Alan Fryrear, executive director of the Kiosks.org Association. "Lief's knowledge of the kiosk industry and his expertise in publishing will enable us to serve our members better".

The new partnership will also have value-added benefits for members of the Kiosks.org Association. KIOSK magazine has released a new rate schedule that includes a 20-percent discount on advertising rates for members of the association.

In addition, KIOSK magazine is in the process of establishing an advisory board and working closely with the Kiosks.org Association to determine future editorial direction for the print publication.
