Kiosk driving license plate renewals in Georgia

Emissions reports and auto insurance verifications are sent to the state electronically, so residents need only their license and a form of payment to renew their tags.

Henry County, Georgia, officials earlier this week unveiled a kiosk that allows vehicle tag renewal with the swipe of a driver's license and credit card, according to the Henry Daily Herald.

County officials said the kiosk, located in the Henry County Administration Building in McDonough, is aimed at making the process easier for residents, and more kiosks are planned for the county's outlying cities. The next will be situated inside a grocery store.
