LONDON -- Kudos Digital Group, together with Immedia Systems, has launched a Digital Media Network at The Gate entertainment complex, which is used to remotely manage digital media, light and sound throughout the development.of cafes, bars, nightclubs, restaurants and a 12-screen cinema complex.
According to a news release, the digital media replaces static signage and advertising and can be updated instantly
"Consumers are responding to this, and we are seeing the benefits of their loyalty," said
Adam Johnson, manager of The Gate, in the release.
The Kudos/Immedia Digital Media Network provides the system operation and infrastructure for remotely managing and scheduling all of the visual and sound content to different locations at different times, according to the release, which means that content can be targeted to different audiences throughout the Gate's 18-hour day. The system also detects errors, diagnoses them and sends an automated response.
Demonstrations of the Digital Media Network will take place at the Captive Audience Networks show on April 1 at London's Radisson Hotel, Portman Square.
