Kiosk analyzes energy use

Microsoft and Beckhoff have teamed up to produce a kiosk-based solution for improving energy efficiency using PC-based control technology from Beckhoff and the Microsoft operating system Windows Embedded Standard 7, according toinstrumentation.co.za.
Building sustainability can be improved by controlling and measuring parameters, like power consumption and temperature, that can be checked by connecting building electrical appliances with an IT kiosk via a socket.
