Duncan, Okahoma city council authorized a permit selling kiosk to improve the quality of life for local lake goers last week, according to The Duncan Banner.
The pilot test allows for the machine to sell various permits in connection with lake activity. Lake goers have to purchase permits from Duncan City Hall, Duncan Police Department, Murf's Guns and JK's Corner Store. The kiosk provides improvements for both lake goers and the officers policing the area.
The test run will cost the city $2,370 for shipping, handling and delivery of the machine. The kiosk also requires a $105 monthly fee for the software.
The machine is expected to be on location by the middle of June.
