KeyMe Locksmiths significantly expanded nationwide access to its self-service key duplication kiosks in 2025 through a series of new and expanded partnerships with major retailers. Deployments rolled out across a broad mix of convenience, grocery, office supply, farm and fleet, big-box and military retail environments. Several large chains, including Walmart and Meijer, transitioned from traditional key-cutting programs to KeyMe's kiosk-based solution, according to a Yahoo Finance report.
By the end of 2025, KeyMe operated more than 7,500 kiosks nationwide, marking the largest single-year expansion in the company's history. New and expanded agreements included pilots and chain-wide rollouts with Blain's Farm & Fleet, Meijer, Rural King, Walmart, WinCo Foods and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service. The company also saw significant organic growth with existing partners such as 7-Eleven, Albertsons, Kroger, Staples, and Stop & Shop. Walmart alone added more than 1,600 locations in 2025, with plans to deploy the kiosks in more than 3,300 additional stores by the end of 2026.
KeyMe's kiosks use computer vision, machine learning and robotics to scan keys, compensate for wear, and recreate factory-accurate duplicates on demand. Using multiple cameras to generate detailed 3D images, the system restores worn keys to original specifications and cuts replacements on the spot.
KeyMe Locksmiths operates in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, cutting more than 10 million keys a year.
