Kentucky town tests parking kiosks

The city of Newport, Kentucky, has installed parking kiosks on Monmouth Street on a test basis, according to a fox19.com report.

City Manager Thomas Fromme said the test is to address complaints about the lack of parking in the 800 block of Monmouth Street.

During the trial, drivers will not be cited if they do not pay at the kiosks. Fromme said he is not sure how long the test will last.
