Kentucky judge objects to Narcan dispensing machine

A judge in Nelson County, Kentucky has objected to the recently installed Narcan vending machine, claiming it is enabling drug use, according to a whas11.com report.

Nelson County Judge Executive Tim Hutchins is planning a public hearing on the matter. He agreed to hold the hearing after receiving feedback from residents who believe the Narcan machine is beneficial.

Vine Grove, Kentucky installed the county's first Narcan machine last year. Narcan, a name for naloxone, reverses the effect of opioid overdose.
