Kentucky 'Central Pawk' dog wash offers unique self-service experience

Dog owners looking for a convenient and affordable way to give their pets a bath now have access to Central Pawk Dog Wash, according to a Link NKY report.
The self-service kiosk, located in Alexandria, Kentucky, offers a variety of shampoo solutions, conditioners, deodorizers and flea and tick treatments for $15.
Owned by veterans Mitchell Leigh and David Hiser, Central Pawk Dog Wash opened in April 2023 and has been a hit with the local community. The kiosk is fully ADA-compliant and can accommodate dogs of all sizes.
"It's so easy on dogs — you can't shoehorn a mastiff into one of those little pet wash beds at pet stores," Leigh told the news outlet. "We just had a customer who came in with a mastiff, and she called and said she cannot get her dog into a groomer because he's too big."
In addition to offering a convenient dog bathing experience, Central Pawk Dog Wash is committed to giving back to the community and partners with local organizations and sponsors community events.
