J&J Ventures Gaming to acquire Golden Route Operations

J&J Ventures Gaming LLC, an Effingham, Illinois based operator of gaming and amusements machines, majority owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management L.P., has agreed to acquire Golden Route Operations LLC, Golden Entertainment's distributed gaming segment, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.
Golden Entertainment, based in Las Vegas, has nearly 1,100 locations in Nevada and Montana. With this acquisition, J&J will serve nearly 4,500 gaming and amusements locations.
"We are honored to welcome all Golden customers and employees and look forward to new growth opportunities," J&J Gaming's CEO Bob Willenborg said in the press release.
"J&J Gaming has a proven track record and a very respectable reputation, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our route customers and employees," Blake Sartini II, Golden Entertainment's executive vice president of operations, said in the press release.
