Japanese banks push biometrics ATM cards

The Yomiuri Shimbun: Financial institutions in Japan — including the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ — that have adopted biometrics-card technology using vein-pattern palm identification are expected to to share ATM access among their customers.
