Leave it to the Japanese to come up with a vending machine for dating.
The glassfront machine is stocked with cans that contain a phone number of an advisor from the Matching Advisor Press, a matchmaking agency, representing a man or woman looking for a match, according to a Tech World report. Pink cans designate a female while yellow ones indicate a man.
The cans cost 20 euros ($21.41).
The advisor puts the customer in touch with a prospective mate and arranges a three-hour dinner, half of which the agency pays for.
If the match ends in a wedding, the customer pays the agency about 300,000 yen ($2,141.22).
