Iridian Technologies CEO appears on World Business Review

BOCA RATON, Fla. - William H. Voltmer, president and CEO of Iridian Technologies Inc., will appear on World Business Review to discuss the need and application for iris recognition-based systems.

Iridian Technologies addresses three applications for its proprietary recognition products including ATMs and automated financial transaction kiosks. According to Iridian, when its iris recognition systems are used in these machines, the need for ATM cards, PINs and passwords is eliminated. Transactions can be conducted from a distance of up to 30 feet.

Testing has shown that iris recognition technology is statistically more accurate than DNA. In addition, Iris Identification is the only form of personal electronic identification that has never granted a false acceptance.
