Iowa invites applications for EV charging stations

Iowa businesses, government agencies and nonprofits are now able to apply for funds to install electric vehicle charging stations, according to a kimit.com report.

More than $50 million has been allocated to the state department of transportation through National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program.

The department wants to have charging stations installed along four of the largest interstate corridors: I-29, I-80, I-380 and I-35.
