Internet kiosks featured at directbanking.com's interactive bank in Boston

Internet banker directbanking.com announced today it is coming to Boston.

The grand opening of what the company is calling New England's first interactive bank is planned for Oct. 18.

Described by directbanking.com as "a truly self-service bank," the Boston branch will feature Internet kiosks and interactive banking consoles with video conferencing capabilities. Customers will be able to open new accounts and manage existing ones entirely online.

Directbanking.com is a member of the Salem Five financial network and the online bank for Salem Five Cents Savings Bank. Salem Five Cents Savings Bank was the first bank in New England to start on online presence with directbanking.com five years ago.
