Internet kiosk company to finance New Zealand rollout with $3.4 million

The West Australian: Internet kiosk company pieNetworks expects to raise about $3.4 million for a planned New Zealand kiosk rollout. To raise the money, the company will offer each of its shares for 1 cent. The funds will be used for production and network development for the Webphone kiosks. PieNetworks plans to install 50 of the kiosks in shopping centers around New Zealand, beginning during the first quarter of 2009. The issue will be partially underwritten to a minimum amount of $1.3 million by company chairman Peter Gunzburg and other shareholders.   Click to continue
