Intel debuts dual-core processors for embedded apps

EET: Intel Corp. announced the launch of its dual-core E6400 and T7400 for embedded applications, ranging from bank ATMs to POS systems. The announcement, made at Tuesday's Embedded Systems conference in Boston, also marks the company's accelerated redeployment of its latest architectures from the desktop and mobile markets into embedded.
