Ink cartridge vending machine expands

Ink Box, a 24/7 ink cartridge vending machine launched about six years ago, has expanded to four locations in central and east central Wisconsin, according to a mynews13.com report.

Entrepreneur Bill Zimmermann launched Ink Box, a glassfront vending machine, when he had a hard time finding ink cartridges.

Zimmermann said sales of the first machine at Ace Hardware in Wautoma tripled during the pandemic, so he expanded with three more machines.

Partner businesses get a commission on the sales.
