InHand Networks has launched its K16 temperature reading kiosk to help companies deliver a safe environment for their employees and customers, according to a press release.
The K16 non-contact temperature reading kiosk can scan multiple people at a time in less than one second and detect people with fever when entering a facility. The fully customizable solution is comprised of an advanced infrared thermal camera, a rugged 10.1-inch tablet PC and UI software.
One of the key features is walk-by mode — scanning multiple people in rapid succession at a time and keeping the traffic moving. It supports auto calibrating with no special background, backdrop or thermal constant needed. Features also include real-time data recording, automatic email notification on over-temperature, and screen casting functionalities.
The "plug and play" kiosk requires no IT integration and is available with desktop, floor stand and wall mounting options.
The kiosk also supports advanced features including facial recognition, face-mask detection, third party system integration and more.
