BURNABY, British Columbia - Cox Communications Inc. and Info Touch Technologies Corp. (TSX-V: IFT) announced an agreement enabling Cox customers to pay their bills at 150 participating Circle K stores in Arizona through the Zaplink self-service bill payment and financial services kiosks powered by Info Touch's TIO Network.
Cox customers will have the convenient bill payment option at 125 Metro Phoenix and 25 Metro Tucson locations 24 hours a day, according to a news release. Customers will be presented with their amounts owed directly on the kiosk and their cash payments will be processed and recognized in real-time by the Cox accounting system. This will be the first time Cox customers will have access to self-service bill payment.
Cox Communications is the newest client in a growing network of biller/service-provider partners to join Info Touch's TIO network. The "TIO Network" is the largest and most convenient national multi-retailer network of self-service financial services kiosks in North America.
Circle K's Zaplink terminals serve approximately 70,000 customers every month and growing in the Arizona market. Zaplink's expanding list of applications include bill payment for major wireless, utility and cable companies as well as maps and directions, prepaid local dial tone, mobile content and money transfer services. The TIO brand communicates the availability of financial services for mostly cash-based consumers.
