BURNABY, British Columbia -- In a move described as an important step in the company's wireless strategy, kiosk provider Info Touch Technologies Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange:IFT), has reached an agreement with Wi-Fi technology firm iPass and Concourse Communications Group to offer wireless Internet service at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.
Customers with Wi-Fi equipped laptops or personal digital assistants can order the service at the airport directly through their machines. Wi-Fi service costs $7.95 for one day's use. Info Touch will receive a percentage of revenues generated by the service.
According to Info Touch officials, the Burnaby, British Columbia-based company is the first to offer the service through iPass and Concourse Communications.
