BURNABY, British Columbia - Info Touch Technologies Corp. (TSX-V: IFT) announced the rollout of at least 25 E-Wiz kiosks in Exxon Mobil TigerMarket and On the Run convenience stores in Nashville, Tenn. This deployment follows the successful launch of the E-Wiz program in Memphis Tennessee in 2004, bringing the number of E-Wiz kiosks to 66, according to a news release.
Powered by Info Touch's industry-leading Premiere software, the E-Wiz terminals provide customers with convenient access to a wide variety of services including bill payment, money transfer, prepaid products and services including long-distance, wireless top-up and mobile content.
"With this latest deployment Info Touch continues to build the largest national multi-retailer network of unattended self-service kiosks providing financial services for non-banked U.S. consumers," stated Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and chief executive officer of Info Touch. "As the number of non-banked consumers grows, programs like E-Wiz will not only reap benefits by creating new revenue streams, but also by delighting customers with more convenient financial services options."
[Editor's note: Info Touch Technologies became Tio Networks in April 2006.]
