Info Touch provides nutritional kiosk

February 8, 2004

BURNABY, British Columbia, Canada - Kiosk development company Info Touch Technologies Corp. (CDNX:IFT) has donated a public-access Internet terminal to the Specialty Food Shop, a Toronto-based health needs food shop operated by health-care provider The Hospital for Sick Children.

Info Touch donated turnkey hardware, software, and services to the project. The kiosk, located at the front of the shop, will feature the Specialty Food Shop's Web site, which contains health and nutritional information and information about the shop itself. The kiosk contains Info Touch's Surfnet management platform.

"With Info Touch's Surfnet kiosk we can provide enhanced access to products and services not available elsewhere," Francy Pillo-Blocka, Hospital for Sick Children director of commercial development, said in a news release. "For parents whose primary focus is the care of their children, this eases the burden a little bit."

[Editor's note: Info Touch Technologies became Tio Networks in April 2006.]
