Info Touch plugs into another wireless deal

August 25, 2002

BURNABY, British Columbia - Full-service kiosk provider Info Touch Technologies Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange:IFT), continuing to build its wireless division, announced a deal on Aug. 26 with wireless access solutions provider Kronofusion Technologies Inc.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kronofusion will offer its wireless computer services through Info Touch's ZapLink kiosk program at Circle K convenience stores. Customers can sign up for a monthly subscription to the service. Subscribers will have access to their home or office computers through the ZapLink units.

Info Touch officials said the company, Kronofusion, and location partners will share revenues through the subscription fees. Info Touch did not disclose how the revenue will be split or the price points on subscription fees.

The announcement comes one week after Info Touch disclosed it would offer wireless Internet service at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (See story: Info Touch taps into airport-based wireless service).
