Info Touch lands e-mail partner

BURNABY, British Columbia, Canada - Kiosk development company Info Touch Technologies Inc. (IFT:CDNX) has teamed up with SoftCom Technology Consulting Inc. to integrate SoftCom's online e-mail services within Info Touch's signature software platform.

Under the agreement, SoftCom's mail2web.com Internet e-mail technology will be available on Info Touch's Surfnet Premiere kiosk management software system. The mail2web system offers users access to e-mail accounts available on POP3 or IMAP4 e-mail servers. The system allows customers to download mail from preexisting accounts, rather than creating new Web-based e-mail accounts.

"A partnership with Info Touch will further our ability to expand the mail2web brand worldwide," Tony Yustein, SoftCom chief executive officer, said in a news release.

Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, Info Touch develops and kiosk software and manufacturing solutions for public access and retail applications.
