TORONTO - Info Touch Technologies Corp. has selected the international public relations firm Weber Shandwick Worldwide to help promote the company's products and services around the globe.
Info Touch, based in Burnaby, British Columbia, has installed more than 8,000 public access terminals for clients including Alamo Rent-a-Car, AT&T and Chapters Bookstores. The eight-year-old firm is expecting to take advantage of the expected surge in kiosk installations in the next five years.
Frost & Sullivan, an industry research firm, predicts the number of Internet kiosks soaring to 446,000 globally by 2006. The report said sales associated with kiosks will jump from $200 million this year to $6.5 billion in 2006.
