BURNABY, British Columbia -- Full-service kiosk provider Info Touch Technologies Corp. (CDNX:IFT), saying it was eager to work with U.S. government interests, has created a subsidiary company, Info Touch USA Inc.
Based in Washington state, Info Touch USA will seek to tap into what it calls a growing demand for web-based kiosk solutions. The company cited Frost & Sullivan research that predicts revenue from the sale of public access e-Gov solutions could approach $250 million by 2006.
"We are strengthening our physical presence in the United States and expanding sales and marketing resources in partnership with other leading technology partners for aggressive market penetration," said Hamed Shahbazi, Info Touch chairman and chief executive officer, in a news release.
[Editor's note: Info Touch Technologies became Tio Networks in April 2006.]
