Info Touch brings aboard new COO

BURNABY, British Columbia -- Full-service kiosk provider Info Touch Technologies Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange:IFT) has named James Sanders to the position of chief operating officer. Sanders succeeds Jose Guerrero, who held the dual roles of COO and chief financial officer. Guerrero retains the positions of CFO.

Sanders has more than 20 years' experience with technology and insurance companies in Canada and the United Kingdom, according to an Info Touch release. He worked as a senior executive at UK-based companies Tiny Computers and Kwik Fit Insurance Service, and was director of customer service for Glasgow-based DX Communications.

Hamed Shahbazi, Info Touch chairman and chief executive officer, said Sanders would bring a customer-centric operational philosophy to the company. He also praised Guerrero's contributions as COO, saying his "Herculean effort" moved the company forward over the last 1 ½ years.
