Albion, Indiana, residents in need of legal services will be able to visit the Noble County Public Library and have free use a legal services kiosk, according to a report in The News Sun.
The Indiana Bar Foundation is funding legal kiosks as part of a housing legal service project by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. Residents will be able to access forms for civil legal needs such as filling out a rental assistance application. They can also communicate with a legal navigator via chat or email during certain hours.
The kiosk, equipped with a computer, paper, thermal printer and Wi-Fi connection, will be in the genealogy room where users will have privacy. The data within the kiosk will not be accessible to the library.
The kiosk will be installed later this year.
