Overdose Lifeline, a non-profit organization, will install a Narcan vending machine to reverse the effects of opioid overdose at the Monroe County Correctional Center in Bloomington, Indiana, according to an indianapublicmedia.org report. The machine will dispense free kits of Narcan, also known as naxolone.

Overdose Lifeline received a $72,600 federal grant through the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction to install Narcan vending machines. It installed its first machine in the St. Joseph County Jail in December and has since installed machines in the Dubois County Jail, Wayne County Jail and Tippecanoe County Community Corrections center.
