Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana, has installed a naloxone vending machine outside the emergency room, according to a report in the Tribune-Star. The machine is one of 19 machines that have been installed across nine Indiana counties to address opioid overdoses.
Overdose Lifeline — a nonprofit dedicated to fighting substance use — provided the machines at no cost to the sites as part of an initiative launched by Gov. Eric Holcomb last year.
